This regional blend from Huila, Colombia, is built from microlots from Small Batch's portfolio producers. These are all smallholders and ecological farmers, all paid under Small Batch's livelihood model. This initiative provides economic security to producers even when their coffees don't quite make the cut as exceptional microlots.

Small Batch purchases all Colombian coffee directly from small holder producers, paying smallholders in Colombian pesos from their bank account to theirs, or with a cheque, or with cash if they don't have a bank account. Small Batch buys parchment coffee and pays in full upon delivery to the mill, then takes charge of the parchment, contracting the milling service and the decaffeination process in Manizales.
