Alirio Munoz, Borbon aji is a unique coffee variety cultivated in Huila, Colombia. This coffee is a Bourbon Ají, which is actually an Ethiopian landrace variety discovered near Bruselas, Huila. The name "Ají" means "chilli" and reflects the coffee cherries' shape and color. This coffee offers a subtly spicy character, coupled with high sweetness and complexity. Alirio and his wife Anayibe Ortiz are members of Los Guacharos and have specialized in various coffee varieties, including this adventurous Bourbon Ají.
