Finca El Rincón was established in 1958 by Dr. Jorge Vides, a full-time doctor who also founded the National Hospital of Huehuetenango and built a school on the farm for workers' families. Today, the farm is run by second and third-generation producers, who have shifted their focus to specialty production while maintaining a deep commitment to community and sustainability. Having taken out second place in the 2002 Cup of Excellence, the Vides family’s reputation continues to grow, and we’re proud to maintain a long-standing relationship with them.
