This coffee comes from Fazenda Samambaia, where the Cambraia family has been cultivating coffee in Santo Antônio do Amparo, in Brazil’s Sul de Minas region, since 1896. With over a century of experience, the farm has built a strong reputation for quality and innovation, consistently earning recognition on the world stage. Over the years, Fazenda Samambaia has achieved multiple Top 20 placements in the prestigious Cup of Excellence — a testament to its dedication to producing exceptional coffees. The farm spans 1,800 hectares, with 619 hectares dedicated solely to coffee cultivation. Fazenda Samambaia employs 51 full-time staff year-round and is led by Henrique Dias Cambraia, who credits the farm’s success to its unique location between the Grande River and São Francisco River basins, creating ideal growing conditions. For microlots, only perfectly ripe cherries are hand-picked and dried slowly on traditional cement patios, allowing their full complexity to shine.
