Edson Luiz Ignacio is the farm owner at Canastra who is leading the region in care and maintenance for the local fauna and flora, employing biodynamic agricultural practices wherever possible throughout the 1000 hectare plots of coffee trees.

The preservation of the local ecosystem guarantees a high level of soil fertility, which pairs beautifully with the Catucai variety, known for its inherently sweet and fragrant characteristics.
